Fine wine complements three-course menu

Alice and John Weygandt established Stargazers Winery in 1996, close to the “Stargazers Stone” observatory where Mason and Dixon surveyed the Pennsylvania-Maryland border.

During the Press Pad Picnic events, guests are welcome to stroll the grounds; see firsthand how Stargazers develops its wines; and sample the winery’s chardonnay, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir. The picnic itself features an innovative three-course menu by Moonlight Catering, each course paired with a different Stargazers vintage. The evening ends with Stargazers’ sparkling wine, fermented in the bottle in the French style.
