At just 826 square feet, this local staple is small, but mighty. Packed shelves of both new and used books, owner Rebecca Dowling ensures there’s something for every taste. Plus, the collection of used titles go for half of the original cover price and shoppers can consign any title from their personal collection to receive a trade credit. Hockessin Book Shelf also offers tons of book clubs like the “Eat, Drink, Read” program, Mystery Lovers and “Not Your Average” club for young adults.
