Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Through April 14, West Chester, Pa.

Resident Theatre Company presents Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which transports audiences to the French Riviera. The comedic show is a take on the 1988 Steve Martin film of the same name.

 

Costuming the Crown

Through Jan. 5, 2020, Winterthur, Del.

In one of the most anticipated exhibits of the year, Winterthur displays 40 iconic looks from the Emmy-winning Netflix series The Crown. Its first two seasons explore the early reign and life of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and other storied royals. Throwing a spotlight on the show’s beautiful and intricate costuming, it features the coronation robe, Princess Margaret’s wedding dress and more.

Victory Gallop

April 6, Philadelphia, Pa.

Thorncroft Equestrian Center celebrates its 50th anniversary with its annual Victory Gallop at the Bellevue Hotel. The event benefits Thorncroft’s mission to help individuals with learning differences through equine therapy.

 

Brandywine Hills Point-to-Point

April 7, West Chester, Pa.

Now in its 77th year, Brandywine Hills Point-to-Point returns to the 318-acre Myrick Conservation Center for a day of steeplechase races, children’s activities and a parade of foxhounds. The gates open at 11 a.m.

 

City Restaurant Week

April 8-13, Wilmington, Del.

Celebrating its 15thyear, the West Chester Film Festival showcases over 60 films that are 30 minutes or shorter.

 

Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Fox Hounds Pony Club Paper Chase

April 27, Cochranville, Pa.

Watch or partake as area equestrians hit the trails for this annual paper chase, which traverses a 5-7 mile course through hunt country. Riders can opt for a leisurely or fox hunting pace. All horses will start at Irwin’s Gate in Cochranville.

 

Wildflower Celebration

April 28, Hockessin, Del.

During this annual event, Mt. Cuba Center welcomes visitors to stroll its grounds and experience the gardens in peak bloom. The day includes live music, story time, plant sales, games and pay-as-you-go food trucks.
