Art lovers prepare to clear your schedules when Wilmington welcomes artist Andrew V. Walpinski.
Wapinski exhibits his current body of work entitled “Wasteland” at Carspecken Scott Gallery. The artist’s work addresses “the give and take relationship that has always existed between man and nature.” Gold, silver and other metal materials have a large presence in this collection. According to Wapinski these materials symbolize man’s earliest attempts to investigate and understand natural elements through organization and building, artistic exploration, alchemical processes and spiritual enlightenment.
