The Delaware Art Museum is determined to get you off the couch this summer and mingling with artsy crowd.
Take in a movie in the sculpture garden on July 12. The film “Midnight in Paris” will be shown, continuing the theme of the “French Twist: Masterworks of Photography from Atget to Man Ray” exhibit, which is currently on view. After the movie, tour the sculpture garden, inspired by the same exhibit. Don’t forget a chair and blanket, so you can cuddle under the stars. Refreshments are provided. Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. A cash bar, with $1-$4 beers and glasses of wine is available.
For all the clay lovers, Clay Date continues its monthly series on July 26. Make a custom piece of pottery for your special someone or simply come out and enjoy meeting new people. Supplies and refreshments are provided. This is a 21+ event. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
