Enjoy wine, beer, appetizers, and more at the Wine and Dinosaurs Festival at the Delaware Museum of Natural History on Sunday, September 26 from 12pm-4pm. Presented by the Wilmington Trust, this wine- and beer-tasting event features a variety of spirits, delicious food, lively music, and scintillating conversation lets you end summer and welcome fall with a bang.

Courtesy of United Distributors and dozens of participating breweries, the Wine and Dinosaurs Festival offers a unique opportunity to sample a host of wines and premium beers. Feel free to purchase a new favorite wine or a classic. Sip drinks, munch hors d”oeuvres, view dinosaur skeletons, and participate in an exciting silent auction featuring some of today’s most popular gifts.

Afghani guitarist, bassist, singer, and rubab player E. Shawn Qaissaunee will entertain patrons with his soulful voice and jazz music throughout the afternoon. Attend talks with experts such as award-winning writer, TV/radio personality, and beer advocate Gary Monterosso. As a firm believer that beer complements gourmet cuisine at an affordable price, Monterosso debunks misconceptions about beer and sparks a conversation that engages everyone from wine connoisseurs to enthusiastic beer drinkers.

Tickets for the Wine and Dinosaurs Festival may be purchased until August 15 at $35 for museum members and $40 for non-members. After August 15, tickets cost $40 for museum members and $45 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased for $55 at the door. Purchase tickets online at https://www.signup82north.com/beventLive.aspx.

All  proceeds from the wine sale, tickets, and silent auction benefit the Delaware Museum of Natural History and its programs like summer camp and Dino Days. Only patrons over 21 may attend.
