Biggs’ New Years Eve Bash

Share

This year, you’ll be at the Biggs Museum of American Art dancing right into the New Year with the sounds of Leon Barton, aka DJ Mech. The best way to end this year is with a jubilant good-bye. You”ll have a perfect view of downtown Dover’s First Night festivities and fireworks as you sip champagne.

You”ll devour Mikimoto”s delicious Asian-themed fare from stir-fry to lobster pot stickers. The open bar features a signature cocktail along with beer, wine and champagne. Meet and mingle in the intimate cocktail lounge while watching the live stream from Times Square.

This isn’t the only chance to pull out your party clothes. Biggs Museum is in the process of throwing several entertaining events throughout the New Year. Each event benefits the museum’s goal of education and preservation of fine arts in Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic region. Biggs Museum will hold these celebrations in lieu of the annual Affair with the Arts gala, which will return in May of 2012.

Guests can win a pair of coach certificates from Airtran valid for travel in the continental United States, including Puerto Rico. Raffle tickets for the certificates are available at $10 each and three for $25.

WSFS Bank presents the inaugural New Years Bash on December 31 from 8pm to 1am on the second floor of the museum. Tickets are $60 for individuals and $100 for couples. The Biggs Museum is located at 406 Federal Street in Dover. Contact them for ticket information at 302.674.2111 or visit online at www.biggsmuseum.org
