Enjoy numerous holiday events at the Biggs Museum of American Art, a museum of fine and decorative arts, made from 1700 to the present.
Bring your family to enjoy hands on holiday activities for children of all ages, or invite your clients and employees to the newly renovated Museum façade and admire beautiful paintings located on the first floor of the museum.
Specific holiday events include:
First Friday: Holiday Performance by Delaware Choral Society – Come enjoy a performance by the Delaware Choral Society as they present works by composers from the Renaissance to the present, as well as numerous renditions of well-known holiday musicians.
Handprint Wreath – Let your children create a special handprint wreath for you, for the holidays! Children ages 5-10 on Saturday and children 3-5 on Wednesday.
Cocoa, Cookies and Christmas Trees – Bring your children to listen to the story of A Charlie Brown Christmas Tree and then watch as they create unique Christmas trees to take home.
