During the 1990s, Bruce Pepich assembled one of the country’s most significant collections of contemporary craft, and he opened the Racine Art Museum in Wisconsin to house his collection. This winter, Pepich brings his experienced eye to the Wayne Art Center as juror for Craft Forms 2009. The annual international exhibition gives established and emerging artists the opportunity to showcase their creations in contemporary craft.
Works include pieces in clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood and mixed media. In addition to accepted works, the center displays fine art paintings and drawings in gallery hallways and Reflections in Glass, an
exhibit of regional glass artists.
