Breakfast in London. Lunch in Paris. Dinner in Venice and Vienna. Dessert in Istanbul — all in one day at Brandywine Country Cooking School’s “Dining on the Orient Express” cooking class at Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast in the Brandywine Valley.
Brandywine Country Cooking School classes are all hands-on, conducted in Hamanassett’s professional kitchen, with participants actively engaged in the preparation and presentation of the select menu themed to a particular time of the year or special occasion. Classes are led by Chef Ann-Michelle Albertson, a noted chef/instructor who received her professional training at La Varenne in Paris, the French Culinary Institute and the Culinary Institute of America.
Brandywine Country Cooking School participants enjoy two nights’ accommodations, breakfast each morning, a Sunday evening welcoming reception and lunch and dinner prepared during the cooking class at an all inclusive price. Classes are limited to ten participants for the ultimate hands-on culinary experience.
Reservations are still available for the “Dining on the Orient Express” class at $750 per couple; $675 for a single; and $250 per person for the class only (space permitting), plus tax and gratuity.
