The Delaware Art Museum celebrates International Museum Day on Friday, May 18 by offering free admission from 10am – 4pm.
Begun in 1977, International Museum Day is celebrated at museums around the world on or near the 18th of May.
In preparation for the Museum’s signature Centennial exhibition, Howard Pyle: American Master Rediscovered, the Museum’s illustration galleries are undergoing a complete reinstallation. Visitors are able to view rarely seen works by Howard Pyle and other prominent American illustrators from the Museum’s permanent collection.
