Share

Take a journey back in time from 1910 through 1960 where American art and culture is highlighted. The Delaware Art Museum’s American Moderns exhibition organized by the Brooklyn Museum contains art from O’Keefe to Rockwell.

This major traveling exhibition features 57 paintings and sculptures where images of modern structures, Americana, and stylized renditions of traditional subjects can be found. Johannes R. and Betty P. Krahmer American Art Exhibition Fund, DuPont, and individual donors can all be credited for support towards this renowned American art collection. Tonight, one can attend the American Moderns Members Preview followed by the Preview Party.  Live music from the Jazz Age to early Rock ‘n’ roll, light hors d’oeuvres, and cocktails will be sure to get you in the mood to take in the artistic scenery.

Several other exhibit-related events take place through October. For more information on these events visit delart.org or call 302.571.9590.
