Still looking for something to do on Friday nights? The Delaware Art Museum’s yearly series “Art is After Dark” offers two exciting events this month: Clay Date on May 24 and Art is Social on May 31.
Play with clay during Clay Date and create your own piece of pottery! All supplies are provided and all levels of experience are welcome. Enjoy snacks, wine, and beer while meeting new people. The event is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.
If you are searching for a more “curatorial” experience, Art is Social gives you the opportunity to catch the final days of the State of the Art: Illustration 100 Years After Howard Pyle exhibit. Mingle with cultured singles and art lovers while enjoying works of art by eight contemporary illustrators. Music, caricatures by local artists, beer and wine tastings, and more await you at this event. This event is free for members and $5 for non-members. Beer and wine $1-$4 and VIP beer and wine tastings are $20.
