Even dogs need time to mix and mingle with fellow canines, and Delaware Humane Association (DHA) has the perfect solution.
Delaware Humane Association hosts its 7th Annual Muttini Mixer, a fun cocktail party fundraiser at the Delaware Center for Horticulture. The event is full of activities, all for “man’s best friend.” Don?t worry dog owners ? they didn?t forget about you. DHA has hors d?oeuvres by Piccolina Toscana Catering with celebrity chef Dan Butler, cocktails (cash bar), silent auction, and pet portraits. All proceeds benefit the Delaware Humane Association; in 2010, Delaware Today named this ?Best Event for Animal Lovers ? Upstate.? Tickets are $55 per person (includes one drink) or $75 per person (open bar). Dogs are always welcome, as long as they are on a leash. Dressy attire is encouraged for both owner and pets.
