The University of Delaware Opera Theatre is pleased to present one of Mozart’s most dramatically intense operas, Don Giovanni.
Musical Director Brian Stone and Artistic Director Blake Smith direct this performance of the opera, which is a collaboration between Mozart and librettist Lorenzo da Ponte.
Don Giovanni incorporates elements of comedy, drama, and the supernatural. For the first time in the history of UDel Opera, this much anticipated piece will be performed completely in Italian, with English subtitles.
