Dressage at Devon, one of America’s top equestrian events, makes its annual appearance at the Devon Horse Show Fair Grounds in Devon, Pa.
Dressage, French for ?training? and often described as ballet on horses, is a sport showcasing these animals? grace, strength and obedience. The horses at the Devon show compete in various categories, including ?performance,? ?breed,? and the Dressage at Devon exclusive ?Born in the USA? category for horses conceived and foaled in the USA.
The highlights of the event include performances by famed horseman and film/TV stuntman Tommie Turvey, made famous by this year’s Superbowl Budweiser ad, as well as the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association quadrille team. The event also features more than 65 vendors selling exclusive apparel, collectables, and antiques. For the younger attendees, there will even be Kids Corral and Dressage at Devon Leadline Class to introduce them to America’s fastest-growing equestrian sport.
