Fireworks and Fountains

Share

Two shows are left for the Fireworks and Fountains at Longwood Gardens. If you were not able to attend any shows earlier in the summer, come for two spectacular nights of music, fountains and fireworks.

On August 13, check out the Stravinsky ‘Stravaganza featuring famous works by the celebrated Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. From the infamous Rite of Spring, to the powerful Petrushka, to the dazzling Firebird finale, this is a show you won’t forget.

On September 3, enjoy an evening of American music classics with Summer Pops featuring the music of Leroy Anderson. Fountains and fireworks dance to Anderson’s most loved works, including Blue Tango, The Syncopated Clock, Promenade, Sleigh Ride and our fantastic finale, Home Stretch.

Guests may reserve a space in the Gardens after 3pm. For the best viewing experience, guests are encouraged to bring a lightweight folding chair, or rental chairs can be purchased for $5 each while supplies last. In our efforts to create the best Fireworks and Fountains experience for all attendees, BLANKETS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to set off Fireworks as scheduled — however, two rain dates are scheduled for each display. The decision to cancel the show is made 15 minutes prior to show time.

Tickets are on sale in the Visitor Center, or by calling 610-388-1000. Please note that on the day of the show, tickets will be available online or onsite only (no phone orders on day of show). Ticket prices are as follows: ages 16 & over: $38 / Members $31 and ages 15 & under: $22 / Members $18.

Dining options are also available to the guests of the Fireworks and Fountains show. Summer Barbeque at the Terrace Restaurant accepts reservations between 3pm–7:30pm, 1906 Fine Dining accepts reservations between 11:30am–7:30pm, and Longwood’s self-service cafe needs no reservations at all. Gourmet to-go boxes are also available by pre-order only.
