The formal name for one of the country’s largest car shows is the Antique Automobile Club of America Eastern Fall Meet. But everyone knows it as the Hershey car show, and it shows off some sweet rides.
Pictures from the 2010 event can be found here.
Where else can you see everything from a stainless steel 1960 Ford Thunderbird – that baby won’t rust – to the proverbial little red Corvette to a vintage school bus?
More than 1500 cars will be on display, and more than 1,000 car corral spaces will hold offerings that are actually for sale. You can drive – or if you don’t want to risk it, trailer – one home.
A gigantic flea market, with more than 9,000 vendors, provides a different kind of browsing, and those seeking that rare antique car part won’t want to miss this chance to poke around.
The car show takes place at the grounds and parking lots surrounding Hersheypark at 100 Hersheypark Drive in Hershey on Saturday October 9. Admission is free, but be prepared to pay for parking.
