While polo is firmly entrenched in the Brandywine Valley, one match in particular is quickly becoming a must-attend tradition — the Chester County Hospital Polo Cup.
Now in its fifth year, the Chester County Hospital Polo Cup adds a silent auction filled with high-ticket items and a “Hats Off to Health” themed hat contest. Live music and a kids korral and, of course, tailgating complete the fun. A VIP tent, which requires a VIP ticket, offers food and beverages.
The event takes place at the Brandywine Polo Club. Tailgating starts at 1:30pm, and the match takes place at 3pm. Tickets, which include parking, are $25, and children under 16 are free.
Proceeds go to The Women’s Auxiliary to The Chester County Hospital, which is buying the most advanced monitoring system available for the Emergency Department. This equipment helps the Emergency Department personnel treat medical emergencies more quickly and accurately.
