With spring around the corner there is nothing better than the warm weather, blooming flowers, and the art and craft festivals that spring brings.
But where do you find all three of these? Kennett Square has the solution! Kennett Square hosts the second annual, ?Art on the Square,? event, a juried arts and fine crafts festival along the main streets of the borough.
Kennett Square is also looking for artist to show in the exhibit. They are seeking artist in a wide range of fine arts and fine crafts from the local region and beyond, offering something for everyone. Applicants will be carefully reviewed on product quality, uniqueness, fit with the aesthetic or ?look? of Art on the Square. They are also searching for artists specializing in original fine art and photography, high-quality handmade artisan crafts, jewelry, up-cycled items, and architectural salvage, including jewelry using vintage components. The application deadline is March 25, 2013. So don’t hesitate to apply.

The festival also includes the annual Kennett Square Beautification Spring Plant Sale and a local student art exhibition to be held at the New Market in Liberty Place. Come out, as spring will be in full bloom and you can fill your home with new crafts, art, and flowers.
