After being rescued by The Chadds Ford Historical Society in 1968, it was carefully restored to its former glory under the guidance of historical restoration architect John Milner. The Historical Society is celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Barns-Brinton House in 2014.

The lecture and discussion will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at the Brandywine River Museum of Art Lecture Room. Admission to the lecture is included in the Museum admission. Light refreshments will be served following the lecture.
