Make It A Weekend At Plantation Field

Share

The 2012 Starter Plantation Field Horse Trials takes place this Mother’s Day weekend. Volunteers are needed for Saturday’s Plantation Field May Horse Trials and Sunday’s Plantation Field Starter Horse Trials.

Volunteers are given 2 tickets that will be placed into a drawing that occurs during the September CIC. The prize is an all expense paid trip to the 2013 Rolex KY 3-Day Event. In addition, there’s a drawing at the completion of each horse trial for a $100 gift certificate from Bit of Britain. People who volunteer also get a $20 credit for any STARTER trials.

Plantation Field is located along Route 82 in Unionville, Pa. and is  adjacent to the famous kennels that house Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire Foxhounds. This site offers a premiere venue with some of the best viewing of cross-country competition anywhere in the country.

Featuring rolling hills, wooded cover, and the well-known stone foundation ruins, the course has great viewing areas to watch this thrilling sport as competitors gallop across vast acres in the heart of Chester County.
