Go Green with Brandywine Valley Association and Live Bands

Share

The Brandywine Valley Association hosts its 6th annual Jam on the Brandywine, an outdoor music festival featuring local bands, catered refreshments, and family fun activities. The gates to the Myrick Conservation Center in West Chester, Pa., open at 11am, and live music plays from noon until 9pm.

Sway to the sounds of The Calabrese Sisters, Uncle Jimmy, The Cameltones, and many bands while munching on food provided by Hickory House Catering. New this year is the option to BYOB, so feel to enjoy great music and food with spirits of your own choice. Kids have some fun, as well with nature activities and hayrides held throughout the day.

Not only does this event entertain audiences of all ages, but it also provides the community with a dose of philanthropy. Proceeds support Brandywine Valley Association (BVA) watershed education and conservation programs. The BVA even encourages attendees to participate in green practices by asking them to bring reusable water bottles. Jam on the Brandywine invites everyone to share a day of fun and environmental activism.
