Mt. Cuba Celebrates National Public Gardens Day

Share

Join Mt. Cuba Center as it partners with Longwood Gardens, Tyler Arboretum, and 500 other gardens across the country to celebrate National Public Gardens Day (NPGD) on May 11, 2012.

At Mt. Cuba Center, people of all ages are invited to celebrate NPGD and explore the region’s finest woodland wildflower gardens. Special, interactive programs include Native Plant Discovery Stations from 10 am to 3pm, a Family Activity Station with “The Journey from Caterpillar to Butterfly” from 10 am to 3 pm, and a Garden Scavenger Hunt from 10 am to 2:30pm — explore the garden, capture images on your cellphone, and win prizes! Also, there will be a plant giveaway, while supplies last.
