New Castle Library Friends provides an opportunity to tour some of historic New Castle’s most interesting and beautiful private kitchens and gardens.
The 7th Annual Kitchen to Garden Tour and Farmers Market will be held on October 9. Several museum houses will also be featured. This unique event includes a self-guided tour, a raffle ticket for designer cookware, and discounts for local merchants and restaurants.
Tickets for the event, which takes place rain or shine, can be purchased at the New Castle Public Library, located on 424 Delaware St., New Castle, Del., or at www.newcastlelibraryfriends.org. They are $10 in advance and $15 on the day of the event.
There will also be a Farmers Market on the Green from 10:00am to 3:00pm. It will be free and feature locally grown products.
