The Delaware Humane Association will hold a Wellness Clinic for cats and dogs at the Concord Pet Foods & Supplies in Shoppes of Red Mill, 1450 Kirkwood Highway in Newark.
Low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, and New Castle County dog licenses are available at the clinics, which are held monthly in partnership with and on-site at Concord Pet Foods & Supplies stores throughout New Castle and Kent counties in Delaware. All vaccinations are administered by a licensed veterinarian.
Rabies, distemper, and bordetella (dogs only) vaccinations are $15 each and HomeAgain Microchips (permanent identification for pet/owner reunion) are $25 each. Prices vary for New Castle County dog licenses and payment is accepted separately from payment for vaccinations and microchips. For complete licensing information, visit http://www.dehumane.org/doglicensing.
Clinics are first come, first served, and cash or checks only are accepted for payment. Cats must be in hard plastic or cardboard carriers, and dogs must be wearing a collar and non-retractable leash. Your pet’s most recent previous rabies certificate with veterinarian’s signature or stamp must be presented to receive a 3-year rabies vaccination.
