Looking for an equine sporting event to enjoy with your family this summer? If so, please come out to The Chester County Hospital’s 7th Annual Polo Cup at the Brandywine Polo Club.
The Chester County Hospital’s 7th Annual Polo Cup features not only a polo match but also festivities catered to adults and children. Spectators who choose to watch the match from the VIP tent have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of decadent food and beverage options ranging from cuisine catered by Limoncello Ristorante, wines from Galer Estate Winery and Vineyard, and desserts from Cakes and Candies by Maryellen. This year, a new Beer Garden keeps guests cool and festive and also provides them with the opportunity to personally try playing polo atop the Beer Garden Horse.
All proceeds from the event benefits the Hospital on the behalf of the Women’s Auxiliaries to The County Hospital in their endeavor to provide financial support to the area’s only non-profit hospital. This year, the Turks Head Auxiliary will be supporting the Hospital’s Prenatal Clinic, which has been offering maternity care and services for more than 30 years. Located in West Chester and Kennett Square, some of the services provided are affordable pre-natal care and childbirth deliveries in a comfortable, personalized, first-rate setting.
Festivities will begin at 1:30pm and the Polo match will begin at 3:00pm. Tickets are available for $25 in advance, however, children 16 and under can attend the match for free. For more information and to reserve your tickets, please visit www.cchosp.com/polo or call 610.431.5329.
