Charity and rock music collide with Rock vs. Hunger, an all-ages rock concert and food drive to benefit Philabundance and Food Bank of Delaware.
Admission is simple, bring two cans of tuna or a $3 donation. For each additional can of tuna beyond the admission “fee,” guests receive a raffle ticket for prize giveaways. Raffle tickets can also be purchases and proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Delaware and Philabundance equally. 
“I feel very strongly about working with organizations such as Philabundance and the Food Bank of Delaware,” AJ Stern, creative director of Una Más Records. “The work that both charities are doing is deserving of support in any way that we can help them. We wanted to work with organizations whose impact would be felt in our own backyard.”
The concert includes performances by MK Omega, La Violencia, 13:1, As Day Turns Dark, Castdown and a special appearance by The Capital City Jedi Knights.
Una Más Records will sell a $5 compilation CD, aptly titled Rock vs. Hunger, Vol. 1, featuring 14 local and regional bands, to benefit both charities featuring 14 local and regional bands.
