Join the Stroud Water Research Center in celebrating local, sustainable agriculture with a multi-course meal. Chester County farmers and producers provide all the food for this event.
With the feast, Stroud’s staff and volunteers hope to emphasize the importance of clean, fresh water and a healthy watershed for food production. “This event lets us underscore our collective responsibility to preserve and protect the water supply that sustains us,” says Bern Sweeney, director of the Stroud Water Research Center.
The team from Talula’s Table in Kennett Square, Pa., is preparing the meal. A Sustainable Feast is held just off of Route 842 West in London Grove, Pa. Turn left onto a dirt road and follow the signs to the feast.
Tickets are $150 and seating is limited. RSVP by June 15. Proceeds benefit the Stroud Center. To reserve your place, contact Kay Dixon at 610.268.2153, or kdixon@stroudcenter.org. For more information or to reserve your tickets online, visit www.stroudcenter.org/calendar.htm#SustainableFeast.
