Children might not like classical music right away, but they can’t resist a chance to touch the instruments when they’re introduced in the form of a petting zoo.
The Kennett Symphony of Chester County offers two free, one-hour performances of “Peter and the Wolf,” and after the concert, children are invited on stage to touch the instruments and ask questions of the musicians. The concerts take place at 2pm; Saturday’s performance will be at the Lincoln University International Cultural Center while Sunday’s concert is at the Emilie K. Asplundh Hall of West Chester University.
