Vintage Kind of Love

Share

Forget the diamonds and chocolates and enjoy a vintage kind of romance that’s perfect for families. Hagley Museum and Library presents Victorine’s Valentine’s Day, a fun day when visitors can sample homemade gingerbread, make a Victorian valentine and create hand-written cards using a quill pen.

Design your own candy bar wrapper, and then enjoy an exhibit featuring valentines and candy.

The Victorian era’s subtle but heartfelt style is perfect for an original and cherished memory. The activities and exhibits, which are included in the regular admission, are suitable for all ages and stages of love. Bring your sweetheart on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 12:30pm to 4pm. Hagley Museum and Library is located in Wilmington along the banks of the Brandywine River.
