Where can you find a fashion show, fabulous hors d”oeuvres, boutique shopping and casino gambling all in one location? At the Deerfield Golf and Tennis Club in Newark during “Viva Las Vegas” Night! The evening of entertainment takes place March 27, 7:30-11:30 PM. Activities are to be held in the Club’s Atrium and New Castle rooms. Admission is $55 and includes $10 in casino chips.
Proceeds go to benefit the Wilmington Flower Market, a fund-raising organization dedicated to improving the lives of children throughout Delaware. To date, more than $4 million has been donated to the Flower Market.
A fashion show is planned to take place throughout the night. You can also play at a “professional” casino table or sit at the “Beginner’s Table” and be instructed on the basic strategies. General Chairman of the Flower Market Suzanne Nista says, “This will be a fun, exciting event! There will be something for everyone, from casino games to shopping in the boutique area [and] bidding on silent auction items.”
