Good deeds are blooming around the Tower in Rockford Park in Wilmington, where the Wilmington Flower Market’s 5k Run/Walk Race takes place on April 25 at 1pm.
Prizes will be given to top finishers in each 10-year age group. Complimentary T-shirts will be distributed to participants, along with refreshments.
The entry cost is $16 until April 22, $20 the day of the event. Children under 10 run for free. All net proceeds benefit the many Delaware children’s organizations supported by the Wilmington Flower Market.
“The 5K Run/Walk is definitely a family event,” said Suzanne Nista, this year’s General Chairman of the Flower Market. “Come out with the whole family and meet new and old friends. Run, walk or jog, you”ll have a great time for a great cause!”
