The Crafted World of Wharton Esherick at Brandywine Museum of Art

The exhibition covers the spectrum of his brilliant career, from the early days of woodcut illustrations to his stunning evolution as a celebrated craftsman.

Jazz Age Illustration at Delaware Art Museum

Through Jan. 26, Wilmington

The Jazz Age was about more than music, fun and fashion. Visual art also played a crucial role in the seismic cultural shift that occurred after World War I. Created between 1919 and 1942, the more than 100 works featured in this exhibit showcase Aaron Douglas, Frank Schoonover and other artists of the time.

Triple Bill at the Grand

Experience three world premieres, choreographed by Ukrainian dancer Viktor Plotnikov, Juilliard graduate Blake Krapels and Mexico’s Carlos Martinez. All are performed by members of First State Ballet Theatre.
