Pictured left to right, Louise Schorn Smith, Countryside Consulting, Inc.; Harry Lewis, Jr., outgoing foundation chair and Bill Kay, retired foundation board member. One comment from the party was “I consider any event a raving success if I end up in a grass skirt!” You can see that was the case with our board chair!

More than 230 sponsors participated in the Brandywine Health Foundation’s Hawaiian Garden Party, which raised a net income of more than $85,000; combined with the Strawberry Festival (presented by PECO and proudly supported by First Niagara), they topped more than $200,000 this year — a record! More than 440 guests joined us at Springbank Farm, the home of Jennifer and Bob McNeil, to enjoy a fabulous evening of great food, delectable desserts, beautiful fireworks, and, most importantly, friendly conversation with other like-minded individuals.
